Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County topples Claxton

In Tuesday's non-league match, the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) basketball team ran past the host Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), by a final score of 50-33.

In their next game, the War Eagles face the Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 1. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 92-41 non-league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).

With the defeat, Claxton moves to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers host Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA) to face the Wolverines in a A D1 Region 3 match on Friday, December 1.
