Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County crushes Claxton

February 3, 2024: Millen, GA 30442

Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), 77-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jenkins County upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA) to play the Spartans in a A D2 Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-18. Savannah Classical Academy lost 63-41 in their recent league bout against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Claxton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 63-41 league win over Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA).
