The Matthews Christian Academy Colts basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Tabernacle Christian Ram to 36 in the Colts league victory on Tuesday.
The Colts now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cramerton Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Matthews Christian Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 75-60 league loss to Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.
The Ram (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Pointe Christian (Pageland, SC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, South Pointe Christian was defeated by Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 79-31, in a non-league contest.
