The Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), 56-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings go into the Mid-Suburban - West test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Fremd got by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 62-31, in a non-league test.
The Bison now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Prospect for a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, December 1. Buffalo Grove will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
