    • Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central overwhelms Munster

    November 28, 2023: Munster, IN 46321

    Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), saw Lake Central's basketball squad wallop Munster by a count of 70-45.

    With the victory, Lake Central upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to play the Pirates in a Duneland challenge on Friday, December 1. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Merrillville won 71-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Munster (Munster, IN)

    Next up, the Mustangs play the Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Munster will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 48-33 league loss to East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN).
