In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) basketball squad beat the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), by a margin of 22-13.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Brevard was beaten by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 55-4, in a non-league outing.
