Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host White Plains Christian Patriots (Mount Airy, NC), 66-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Cougar travel to Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Colts in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Matthews Christian Academy won 71-31 in their recent league bout against Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Mount Calvary Christian Warriors (Archdale, NC) in a NCCSA A District 3 bout, on Friday, December 2. White Plains Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-57 league loss to Scotland Christian Academy (Laurinburg, NC).
