The Providence Grove Patriots basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles to 31 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. Providence Grove will battle a Storm team coming off a 45-33 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 2-1.
The Golden Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Ledford was ripped by Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 58-55, in a non-league match.
