The Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) basketball knocked off the host East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 63-52 in Monday's non-league test.

The Patriots (2-8) will now prepare for their test against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, North Davidson went down by Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 77-64, in a non-league test.

The Golden Eagles now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Wheatmore for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. East Davidson will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 99-47 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
