Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-County upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans host Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA) to play the Tigers in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Friday, December 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Bears play the Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, December 2. English Valleys will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
