Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA), 46-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterloo East upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans host Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a bout on Thursday, December 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Wahawks clash with the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, December 2. Waterloo West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 60-43 non-league win over Davenport Central (Davenport, IA).
