The Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) basketball edged the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
The Matadors now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 1. Sandia will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 64-39 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
