The Appleton North Lightning basketball team (Appleton, WI), was toppled 60-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI)
The Papermakers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hortonville for a Fox Valley battle on Thursday, December 1. Kimberly will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 70-37 league win over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Polar Bears record now stands at 4-0.
The Lightning (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI). The Galloping Ghosts come into the Fox Valley battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Kaukauna beat Appleton West (Appleton, WI), 82-54, in a league battle.
