In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), by a margin of 42-40.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, West Lincoln was tipped by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 78-27, in a non-league outing.
The Ironmen now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host West Lincoln for a non-league outing on Friday, December 2. Cherryville will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 65-11 non-league win over Chase (Forest City, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
