Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 39-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherryville upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Foard won 52-24 in their recent non-league bout against Bandys (Catawba, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Chase will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 54-34 non-league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC).
