The New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 33-20 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Phoenix (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Windsor Forest notched a victory over Drew (Riverdale, GA), 40-21, in a non-league test.

The War Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Treutlen for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Jenkins County will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
