High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Springdale Prep

The Springdale Prep Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Varsity Opponent to 50 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill School for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Springdale Prep will battle a Rams team coming off a 66-32 non-league loss to Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.

The (15-81) will now prepare for their contest against Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Montverde Academy edged Mainland (Daytona Beach, FL), 70-29, in a non-league contest.
