The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) and the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM), observed Los Lunas's basketball team overwhelm Centennial by a score of 49-26.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Eldorado trounced Socorro (El Paso, TX), 63-25, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Centennial will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Ravens go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 40-32 non-league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
