In Wednesday's non-league outing, the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) basketball squad beat the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), by a margin of 48-34.
The Titans (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Owen defeated R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 49-13, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host West Caldwell for a non-league outing on Friday, December 2. South Caldwell will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 62-17 non-league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
