The Carroll County Cavaliers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Pulaski County Cougars to 48 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Floyd County was outscored by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 69-59, in a non-league contest.
