Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX), 58-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Los Fresnos upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Juarez-Lincoln lost 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Economedes (Edinburg, TX)

Next up, the Chargers play the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Tarpons come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 44-37 non-league loss to Pace (Brownsville, TX).
