With the win, George West upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Refugio (Refugio, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Refugio won 50-12 in their recent non-league bout against Annapolis Christian Academy (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Mathis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cottonpickers enter the game with a 7-0 record after their 44-38 non-league win over Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX).
