The Fairfax Stampede basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Alhambra Lions to 50 in the Stampede non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Stampede now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to North for a 5A Metro game on Monday, December 2. Fairfax will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Alhambra falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Browne (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 3-4. Browne lost 66-41 in their recent non-league game against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ)
