In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Fairfax Stampede basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Alhambra Lions.

The Stampede (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A Metro contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Metro Tech was topped by North (Phoenix, AZ), 79-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro contest, on Friday, December 13. Alhambra will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 82-44 league win over North (Phoenix, AZ).
