In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Century Centurions basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Cobden Appleknockers.

The Centurions (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Crab Orchard (Marion, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Crab Orchard topped Sandoval (Sandoval, IL), 91-69, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Appleknockers confront the Christopher Bearcats (Christopher, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Cobden will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 52-51 non-league win over New Athens (New Athens, IL).
