The Century Centurions basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Cobden Appleknockers to 35 in the Centurions league triumph on Thursday.

The Centurions now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Egyptian for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Century will confront a Pharaohs team coming off a 68-51 league loss to Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Pharaohs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Cobden falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Appleknockers travel to Johnston City (Johnston City, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Indians go into the game with a record of 3-6. Johnston City lost 68-45 in their recent league game against Vienna (Vienna, IL)
