The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) and the visiting Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL), observed Tri-Valley's basketball team overcome Heyworth by a margin of 40-28.

The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen come into the Heart of Illinois challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lexington defeated Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL), 71-67, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 9. Heyworth will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
