The Mt. Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 42-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wahlert for a non-league outing on Wednesday, November 6. Mt. Vernon will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Mid-Prairie drops to 33-9 on the campaign.
