North Carolina High School Basketball - Jackson Day tops Piedmont Community Charter

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), saw Jackson Day's basketball squad knock off Piedmont Community Charter by a count of 43-33.

With the victory, Jackson Day upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 8. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 7. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
