Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots (Mount Airy, NC) backers were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team topple the host Dayspring Christian Academy Lions (Blacksburg, VA), 52-34 in a non-league game.
The Runnin' Patriots now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland Baptist Christian for a non-league game on Monday, November 10. Surry HomeSchool will confront a Eagles team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Auburn Baptist Christian Academy (Riner, VA). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
