North Carolina High School Basketball - Mitchell trounces Tuscola

The Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 80-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mountaineers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Tuscola will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-46 non-league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
