New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), 58-17 in a league bout.

With the win, New Kent upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans host Tabb (Yorktown, VA) to play the Tigers in a Bay Rivers bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Tabb won 50-33 in their recent league bout against York (Yorktown, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers bout, on Thursday, December 8. Bruton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
