The LeRoy Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs to 49 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warrensburg-Latham for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. LeRoy will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 50-34 league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Ridgeview moves to 2-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Flanagan/Woodland (Flanagan, IL) to face the Falcons in a Heart Of Illinois match on Monday, December 5. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-7. Flanagan/Woodland lost 63-33 in their recent league match against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL)
