Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Paradise Bobcats (Paradise, CA), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Live Oak improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Marysville (Marysville, CA) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Marysville won 52-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Bear River (Grass Valley, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Lindhurst Blazers (Olivehurst, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Paradise will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
