The Rock Island Rocks basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Moline Maroons to 47 in the Rocks league victory on Thursday.

The Rocks now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geneseo for a Western Big 6 contest on Saturday, December 3. Rock Island will battle a Maple Leafs team coming off a 52-37 league loss to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 5-1.

The Maroons (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers come into the Western Big 6 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Alleman was defeated by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 37-34, in a league contest.
