The Petrolia Pirates basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Tioga to 44 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Saint Jo for a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. Petrolia will play a Panthers squad coming off a 44-23 non-league win over Savoy (Savoy, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-0.

Next up, the play the Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Tioga will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 30-14 non-league loss to Alvord (Alvord, TX).
