Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tioga (Tioga, TX), 64-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petrolia upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bowie (Bowie, TX) to play the Jackrabbits in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the play the Honey Grove Warriors (Honey Grove, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Tioga will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 49-28 non-league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
