The Bayside Marlins basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Tallwood Lions to 49 in the Marlins league victory on Friday.

The Marlins now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cox for a Beach contest on Tuesday, December 5. Bayside will battle a Falcons team coming off a 49-42 league loss to Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles come into the Beach contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Landstown was defeated by Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 81-76, in a non-league contest.
