In Friday's non-league outing, the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), by a count of 67-64.

The Cavaliers (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.

The Wildcats now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Patton for a non-league match on Friday, December 8.
