The Hersey Huskies basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Elk Grove Grenadiers to 37 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Forest for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Hersey will meet a Scouts team coming off a 68-45 non-league win over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 4-1.
The Grenadiers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Sandburg was routed by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 86-66, in a league contest.
