The Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), 54-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Gamecocks (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Dorman notched a victory over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC), 52-45, in a non-league test.
The Gators now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a non-league test on Friday, December 8.
