Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM), 67-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pecos upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Blue Griffins in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Blue Griffins go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Santa Fe Prep won 39-37 in their recent non-league bout against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)

Next up, the Rangers/Rangerettes clash with the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Mora will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
