The Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), 53-49 in Friday's league test.
The Jaguars (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears go into the AAAA Region 6 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Holy Innocents Episcopal got by Westminster (Atlanta, GA), 64-47, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Druid Hills for a AAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, December 5. Stone Mountain will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 68-63 non-league win over Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-4.
