The Stephenson Jaguars basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Stone Mountain Pirates to 60 in the Jaguars league victory on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarkston for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, February 2. Stephenson will battle a Angoras team coming off a 70-30 league loss to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Angoras record now stands at 3-17.

The Pirates (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats come into the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Westminster edged Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA), 57-42, in a league contest.
