In Friday's non-league match, the host East Burke Cavaliers basketball team scored a decisive 60-35 triumph over the Draughn Wildcats.

In their next game, the Cavaliers meet the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 7. East Burke will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.
