West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 31-26 in a league bout.
With the win, West Limestone upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tanner (Tanner, AL) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Tanner lost 77-13 in their recent non-league bout against East Limestone (Athens, AL)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. St. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 43-31 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL).
