Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Chiswell can't hold off Auburn

The Auburn Eagles basketball team scored 21 points and held the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers to 19 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 6. Auburn will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 62-9 non-league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
