Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 58-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Southern Lee lost 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Central Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
