River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA), 59-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, River Islands upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Riptide travel to Beyer (Modesto, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Beyer won 67-37 in their recent non-league bout against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Ripon Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-46 non-league win over Denair (Denair, CA).
