The Ripon Christian Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting River Islands Riptide to 34 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonora for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Ripon Christian will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-28 non-league win over El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

The Riptide (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Big Valley Christian was outscored by Denair (Denair, CA), 70-39, in a non-league contest.
